Its been quite a while, i thought I would write a little bit. I've been such a dosey git lately. Within my first two months of getting my car i had to go a head a crash the damn thing!!!! You know people have been telling me 'don't worry everyone does it when they get their first car' but i didn't want it to happen to me. It wasn't a bad crash, by a miracle there was not any damage apart from a tiny dent unbove my wheel (which i wouldn't have noticed if my Mum hadn't pointed it out), oh and the fact that i burst my tire. My tire let out aloud band and scared me half to death! It was amazing, everyone who was near me jumped out of their cars to help me and changed my tire for me. Which I thought was so nice!! Special thanks goes to my lovely Alan for helping me too. I'm so glad he was there with me!!!!!!!!  I LOVE YOU ALAN!!!!!!!!!   All that is left to say about this situation is sorry to my poor little car for having o go through a tramatic experience. I wuv you really!!!

WEll, after my little ordeal with the car, I am back at work. Helping my patients again. Still in recovery. Waking people up. Taking obs. Removing assisted airways, followedby a loads of sputum...lovely!!! There is actually much more to that...if I told all that a recovery nurse does i'll be here all night!!

Right I had this really weird dream the other night. I have no idea of what to make of it. See what you can make of it ^____^

 The dream began on beautiful sandy beach. The sun was hot, high in the sky and made the water of the ocean sparkle beneath it. I am sitting on the sand helping to make a huge sand castle. It was bigger by far than the average sand castle. It stood ten feet tall, over looking the people below who where adding the finishing touches on its magnificent structure. The architecture on the castle was wonderfully detailed and unbelievably so for a castle made out of sand. 

          As the castle was finished and the children started to crawl under the arches of the castle, I turned to the ocean and began to walk along the sand with the ocean water lapping over my feet.  Something in the distance of the ocean caught my eye. A bright mist hovered above the water and seemed to be luring me to it, much to my unawares. Without thinking and my eyes firmly on the bright mist, I started to float towards it. The mist was blinding as I became closer to it but my eyes were not swayed to look away.

          Suddenly as I entered the mist, the blinding light had disappeared and I was now looking at a room full of luxurious cushions of all different colours and sizes. The walls where decorated with beautiful and colourful tapestries. In the middle of the room stood a table that sat wooden box, which had had roses carved along its sides. I opened the box to reveal a pack of cards whose faces where facing down in the box. The pattern on the back was so elaborate I wondered what the front would look like. I lifted one of the delicate cards to turn it around. As I was about to look upon the illustrations on its face I heard someone shout my name from a distance and I turned my head. The mist returned again but this time the blinding light hurt my eyes and I lifted my hands to shield them. The card had vanished from my hand.

Then the light was gone. I slowly removed my hands from my eyes and opened them. I was no longer on the beach but in a room, lying on a bed. I sat up and looked around. The door was open and I saw people in uniforms bustling up and down the corridor. I recognised them as nurses and doctors. I was in a hospital. I didn't how I got there, or why I was there. I stood up and I walked to the large window, which let a lot of sunlight into the room. The room looked over the beach, and as my eyes glanced on the ocean, a sensation swept over me making me feel weak and I feel to the floor. All of a sudden I thought of the cards and the need to hold them in my hands.

And as dreams tend to do when you are getting somewhere…I woke up.

The cards i was talking about were either tarot cards or oracle cards, I'm not sure which they were I didn't see the picture. If anyone knows what any of this symbolises please tell me!! I would like to know!!!!!  ^___^ Maybe its just telling me that I need to practice with my tarot cards more. Mind you I was thinking of Cardcaptors the day before so that could be it. Who knows?

helloooooooooooo!!

Hey!! well, I have been so surprised this week!!!!! I have been working in recovery and it has been soooooo interesting! I feel like I'm nursing again!!! Theatres is great and everything but i don't think i can stand obnoxious consultants any longer. In fact consultants are much nicer when you are not scrubbed up for them! I haven't felt like I have nursed for ages! All theatres seems to be is cleaning stuff, fetching stuff and handing out stuff. You don't really get to use the knowledge you gain in class and apply it in practice. In recovery its a lot better. And I get to talk with my patients!!!  

Anyay on a lighter note....I have been with my boyfriend for 3 yrs and 10 months today!!!! I love him so much! Why am I not with him right now you ask? he's having a shave. Hes face will be all smooooooth!! And reeaaaaallly nice to kiss!!! Hmm.....I love him soooo much! Oooooh! Hes back!!!!!! better go!!!! I want huggies and kisses!!!!! bysie!
